ABOUT US
At Baxter Dance Training, we are passionate about providing high-quality dance education in a positive and inspiring environment where every dancer has a place to grow. As Southern Utah’s premier dance studio, we offer programs for dancers of all ages, abilities, and goals—from pre-professional training for those pursuing careers in dance to recreational classes for students looking to build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love for movement.
Our experienced staff is dedicated to developing strong, versatile dancers through exceptional training in ballet, jazz, tap, ballroom, acro, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, and more. Beyond the studio, our dancers have opportunities to work with industry-leading choreographers, attend elite intensives and conventions, perform in professional video projects, and travel for unforgettable experiences, including performances in Times Square.
In addition to our dance programs, we are proud to now offer music and voice lessons, as well as adult classes, creating even more opportunities for our community to learn, grow, and express themselves through the performing arts. Located in Washington, Utah, just off Washington Dam Road, Baxter Dance Training is excited to continue growing with the opening of our brand-new facility in Spring 2026.

FROM THE PARENTS
“Baxter Dance Training is welcoming to all levels of dancers. They are there to encourage your dancer to grow at their pace with all the love and support. They not only care about your dancer as an athlete but they care about and are invested in your dancer as a person.”
“We love BDT. We love how they care about their dancers personally and how they try to build those bonds. They show up for their solos, which makes for a long dance weekend, but they want to cheer on their dancers! BDTs attention to technique is the best Southern Utah has to offer. I’m thankful for Samm and Alexx and what they have done for our dancer this year.”
“After moving to Baxter Dance Training our daughter, a late-starter in the world of dance, has grown in all areas of dance. The instructors here care so much for the growth of each individual dancer and are aware of what each dancer needs to improve. We’re so impressed with the level of care and professional training at Baxter!”
“Baxter Dance Training is an awesome studio! My daughter has loved her teachers and felt that the quality of dance education at the studio is superb! All the other dancers have been kind to her and BDT is a place where she feels like she belongs!”
